Forge & Fiddle began as a dream at a kitchen table. In 2008, I started making hand-stamped jewelry as a creative outlet, carefully crafting each piece of metal into something meaningful. What began with a few simple designs grew into a thriving handmade jewelry brand — Jenna Scifres Handmade Jewelry — which has been worn and gifted by customers all across the country and sold in over 700 boutiques and gift shops worldwide.
In 2016, I made the leap and quit my corporate day job to pursue my jewelry business full time. That decision opened the door for me to focus completely on creating, building my online brand, and connecting with my customers.Â
In 2020, I opened my first brick-and-mortar shop at 348 ½ Washington Street in downtown Prophetstown. It was a cozy home for my jewelry and handmade goods, and the experience showed me how much I loved having a physical space where people could stop in, shop, and be part of something creative.
By August 2021, I moved into my current storefront at 338 Washington Street, a historic bank building in the heart of downtown. This larger space enabled me to expand beyond jewelry to include music, gift items, and workshops, while also showcasing other local handmade items during our open houses and trunk shows.
By 2025, this vision became Forge & Fiddle — a creative space where art, music, and Midwest tradition meet.

I’ve been a violinist for over 30 years, performing everywhere from local bands and orchestras to community events and weddings. Teaching and sharing music is one of my greatest joys, and I love helping both kids and adults discover confidence through creativity.
